Animal welfare and sustainability
In order to achieve sustainability goals, we should keep asking ourselves this question.
With a little sacrifice and creative alternatives, we can all help make the world freer from animal suffering.
“If you don’t want to change anything, you will also lose what you want to preserve.”
(Gustav Heinemann)
Shop mindfully - eat CONSCIOUSLY!
Do I really need this?
We want everything, but actually need very little. Shopping consciously means dealing with the products you buy:
Those who shop mindfully live and act more consciously and prefer products with the following properties: healthy, sustainable, regional, environmentally friendly and socially acceptable.
We consumers have the POWER!
Sustainable shopping affects all areas of life. Our purchasing decisions determine the market and we have these decisions in our own hands every day. In the end, our conscious consumption can change the world.
Mindfulness involves thinking and acting, which is why the question of responsibility arises here: What consequences do I draw from my awareness of my consumer behavior and the origin of my food, clothes, electrical appliances...?
For many people, however, foregoing meat is associated with severe deprivation and often even with deep fears.
An absolute WAIVER is not necessary for someone who cannot do it. An APPROACH to a different CONSCIOUSNESS IS ALREADY a positive change.
The following questions should everyone ask themselves before eating?
Each and every one of us can do our part to eat mindfully and thus promote sustainability and species-appropriate animal husbandry.
ANIMALS deserve our RESPECT!!
