Safety harness, leash & co...

Safety harness, traction collar, towing leash, etc.

Your dog’s life insurance!

Even if you may think that walking on a leash is already working well or that your dog has not yet attempted to escape,

Maybe he's just waiting for the right moment!

Please do not underestimate this problem if you want to give a dog from animal welfare a new home.

Unfortunately, the daily reports prove again and again that dogs (often from foreign animal welfare, but also from German mass breeding or animal hoarding stocks) escape from their new homes in the first few hours or days.

A must for every animal protection dog!

  • 1. Safety harness

This is an escape-proof dog harness that uses an additional third waist strap to prevent the dog from squirming out of its harness.

  • 2. Pull stop collar

The pull collar is a collar that narrows to a certain extent when pulled - tightly gripping the dog's neck but not choking, but can cause choking, depending on the setting.

  • 3. Safety line

These special straps are one thing above all: practical!

  • 4. Towline

There are many reasons why a flexi leash is not suitable for dogs!

1.are uncertain. Sometimes the stopper doesn't work. For example on a street when a car comes and the dog jumps onto the street.

2.
cause injuries. No matter whether it's a cord or a ribbon, if you pull it through quickly, you'll get the worst burns or cuts.

3.
prevent intervention. If you have to quickly take the dog away from something, you grab the strap with your hand. If the dog then pulls forward, you will hardly be able to hold him. You have no control at all.

4
. prevent a relaxed walk. The dog is always on the move, and depending on whether the leash gets tangled in a bush, this can be uncomfortably captivating for the dog. If you guide the leash loosely with the stopper and then let go of the button, the band snaps back suddenly. The dog feels all of this on its body - in the worst case, on its neck.

5.
can send dogs running. If the box falls out of one's hand, he rushes after the dog; and he will usually run away in panic.

6
. lead to leash pulling. The dog learns: if I want to go somewhere, I have to pull. This makes walking on a normal leash very difficult.

7.
are not insured. Some pet owner liability insurance policies do not recognize retractable leashes as real leashes (correctly, due to the high risk of damage). So if the dog is being walked on the Flexi in the dark and a cyclist rides onto the invisible leash, the insurer may not promise cover due to negligence/own fault. And the dog would certainly be injured in such an incident.

8th.
are unreliable. Depending on the size and strength of the dog, the cord may break and the dog is gone. Or the dog will bite through the cord in seconds.

Proponents of pull-out lines repeatedly say that these dangers can be eliminated if handled correctly. That's wrong.

Many of the situations develop rapidly without any action on your part. And after all, you are not only endangering yourself, but also other dogs and people.

The good news if you can't let the dog loose and still want to give him some freedom: there are alternatives to the pull-out leash!

For example, towing lines made of Biothane, available in any length and width. Biothane has the advantage that it is clearly visible when you choose a smart color: neon colors can also be seen beautifully in the grass.

The material does not become heavy when wet, like nylon.
